Schemes Description
Distribution of Forest Rights Recognition Letters Forest rights accreditation letter is given as per Scheduled Tribes and other traditional forest dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act-2006, Rules-2007 as amended rule-2012.
Post graduate scholarship This scholarship is a postgraduate course of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, including medical, engineering and vocational education. Is provided for study. This scheme is provided by the Government of India grants and state government funding to encourage students to get higher education.
Hostel Scheduled Caste and Tribe hostels are being run for the purpose of providing education facilities to the students in a good environment, separate hostels for children and girls are run. Students studying in class 6th to 10th are given admission in post-matric hostels and post-matric hostels for students studying in upper level classrooms.
Ashram Shala Yojana Ashram Schools have been arranged in such places where there is no educational facility available in Vananchal and Dharastha areas in the state. The classes from 1st to 8th are organized in these ashrams.
Jawahar Adivasi Utkarsh Student Scheme Under this scheme, to make competent students of the Scheduled Caste talented students of the state by providing admission in excellent residential educational institutions (government and private) to provide better opportunities for education.
Nursing training In the year 2009-10, the scheme was started for the education of BSc Nursing 4 years of professional curriculum in the state, under which Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe students received admission in private nursing colleges for tuition fees, hostels and meals etc. Is provided.
Healthy Body Healthy Mind (Health Care) Scheme This scheme is applicable for the regular health check up of students residing in hostels and ashram in the departmental hostel-ashram which is operated in remote villages of Vannanchal and where there is no facility of primary health center, it is applicable from the year 2007-08.
Special coaching scheme There is absence of teachers in remote tribal areas. Due to this, students residing in hostel-shelters remain vulnerable in difficult subjects. The objective of this scheme is to make students residing in Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes hostels with qualitative improvements on the results of difficult subjects through special teachers, to be successful in competitive examinations.
